The starting area for the marathon is on BPT Road, located east of Sewri Railway Station. Please note, this is not to be confused with Zakaria Bunder Road, which extends from Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road to the north, or P D’Mello Road to the south.

BPT Road begins opposite Orange Gate to the south and continues from beneath the Eastern Freeway near Wadala INOX, Antop Hill to the north. It's important to understand that BPT Road runs underneath the Eastern Freeway in this section.

Do not use the Eastern Freeway to access the starting area, as there is no entry point from the top.
